The Volcano Medic 2 Vaporization System basically consists of a Hot Air Generator, a Membrane Pump and a Flask with a removable Valve, i.e. a Hose System.
The vaporisation and inhalation process thus takes place at different times and in different places, making inhalation very safe for the user, as during inhalation from the Flask with Valve/Silicone Hose you come into contact with neither the heat nor the electricity of the Hot Air Generator.

The Vaporizer works with a patented heating technique, which combines convection and conduction. For the vaporisation process, the Filling Chamber is attached to the Hot Air Generator. The Flask with Vacuum Valve or the Tube Unit is then placed on the Filling Chamber. When used with the Hose Unit, the diaphragm pump is not required - it is then possible to inhale directly from the Hose Unit.

Volcano Medic 2 represents a further development of the Volcano Medic. Compared to its predecessor, it offers the following advantages:

With the Volcano Medic 2 Vaporization System, two medical technology problems are solved at once. On the one hand, the Volcano Medic 2 Vaporization System enables the inhalation medical application of liquid cannabinoids dissolved in alcohol. On the other, it allows the inhalatory application of cannabinoids directly from dried cannabis flowers. In the Volcano Medic 2 Vaporization System, cannabinoids are released exclusively by heat. No combustion takes place. This prevents the formation of harmful substances produced by combustion.

If the Hot Air Generator is heated, the pump is switched on, hot air flows through the Filling Chamber and thus activates the vaporisation of the inflorescences. The mixture of air and aerosol thus produced is conveyed into the Valve Flask, where it cools rapidly to room temperature due to the large surface area. As soon as a sufficient quantity of aerosol has been filled, the pump is switched off and the Valve Flask is removed from the Filling Chamber; the Valve closes automatically. For inhalation, the Mouthpiece is then inserted into the Valve of the filled flask. By exerting slight pressure with the lips on the Mouthpiece, the Valve opens and the cannabinoid aerosol can be inhaled. As soon as the pressure on the mouthpiece ceases, the valve closes automatically.

When the Hot Air Generator is ready, the Tube Unit is placed directly on the Filling Chamber on the unit.
IMPORTANT: The diaphragm pump is not switched on. When the user inhales directly from the Hose Unit with the force of his lungs, hot air (convection) is conveyed through the already heated Filling Chamber (conduction). The released active ingredients are conveyed and cooled as an aerosol through the metre-long silicone hose.

Through conduction heating, it is ensured that the user is able to release the active ingredients from the first puff.

Intended use

The Volcano Medic 2 and its predecessor model Volcano Medic are intended for the vaporisation and subsequent inhalation of cannabinoids obtained from hemp flowers. Dronabinol dissolved in alcohol can also be used with the Volcano Medic series of devices. The aim is the administration of the active ingredient into the human body via the pulmonary alveoli for the corresponding medical indication.

The Volcano Medic 2 and its predecessor model are suitable for the temporary inhalation application of cannabinoids prescribed by a doctor for use in the home, hospital or doctor's office. The devices guarantee a highly effective, safe and fast-acting application of cannabinoids. A medical examination must in any case be carried out prior to treatment.

The device is not indicated for use in children and adolescents under the age of 18. Adults must use the device in accordance with the Instructions for Use or as directed by a doctor.

General indications

Hemp can produce psychotropic (narcotic) effects in certain doses. There is therefore the possibility of abuse, which in almost all countries of the world is countered by the legislator with the relevant laws. Only use medicinal hemp flowers prescribed by a doctor and purchased from a pharmacy, so as not to run the risk of breaking the law. Consult your doctor, pharmacist or, if necessary, the competent authorities for information on the legal situation in your place of residence.

The Volcano Medic 2 may not be used if the user has a respiratory tract or lung disease. The vapours, depending on their density, can irritate the respiratory tract and lungs, which can lead to coughing. Although inhaling vaporised hemp causes considerably less irritation than smoking, inexperienced users initially need an adaptation phase to find the optimal temperature for application. The user should perform the inhalation with concentration and care. Laughing, yawning and talking should be avoided during application to avoid triggering a cough.
