The Phönix MSED550 dry pollen extractor is a high-quality double mechanical sieve with a capacity of 1100g (2x550g). With the sieves, it is possible to process leaf material and inflorescences of various plants and thus separate pollen from plant material. Different qualities of pollen are produced by adding different mesh sizes.

The speed of the drums is adjustable from approx. 8 to 35 rpm (in 7 passes) and the direction of rotation can be changed by changing the polarity of the plug. The standard mesh size of 150μm is used to separate pollen from plant material.

The filter can also be used to separate seeds from flowers. Simply place the plant material or inflorescences in the drum and switch it on. After a short test run, you can check whether the desired separation with the chosen sieve size takes place as expected.
